I think we can all agree Saturday’s huge away day support at Coggeshall was great to see. We may not have got that elusive first win, but the boost it would have given the team to see us all there despite the poor start, showed we are still very much behind them.
On Saturday we travel to a great little ground in the heart of Bury St Edmunds. At 65mile (1hr20min) it’s one of the furthest away matches this season where the JFA won’t be organising a coach. Don’t let that put you off, as car sharing is one of the benefits of this group and all part of the away day experience.
If the family can’t bear to be without you for an afternoon, then why not make a day of it as there’s plenty to do in town whilst you watch the match. Meet-up for dinner and everyone’s a winner.
The ground’s adjacent to the town centre ‘pay & display’ carpark, so ideally get yourself there nice and early, bag yourself a space, have an educational walk around the abbey ruins, then head to the ground to meet your fellow Jammers.
