Yesterday saw the release of the Isthmian League fixtures for the forthcoming season. Whilst all dates are subject to change, one fixture which is relatively concreted in to the calendar is our trip to Lowestoft on 27th August 2022.
As one of our aims and objectives, we are looking to lay on transport for supporters wishing to travel to games which are a considerable distance, 1) to make your lives easier and 2) to try and ensure Paul and the team have as much support at the game as possible.
Our trip to Lowestoft is a great opportunity for us to try and provide transport. Currently, the proposal is to share the coach with the playing squad and management team. In order to make it a viable option, we realistically need to have 25/30 supporters travelling on the coach.
We are currently in the early stages of finalising the associated costings, however it is likely to be in the region of £12 – 16 per person. We will do our upmost to keep the cost as low as we possibly can.
The departure time is to be confirmed, however the players need to arrive at Lowestoft for around 1:15/1:30pm and therefore we look set to depart the Maldon Stadium at approximately 10:30am. The plan would be to depart Lowestoft at around 5:30pm, arriving back at the Maldon Stadium for approximately 7:30 / 8:00pm.

Travelling as a group will give us a great opportunity to network further and also get to know the players better, as it anticipated that the majority of them will travel on the coach due the 160+ mile round trip.
The offer of transport is also available to non members, so please, don’t be afraid to invite your friends, family, neighbours, whoever!
