In November 2021, a group of supporters got together and decided to launch a supporters association for Maldon & Tiptree Football Club.
Having formed in 2010, following the amalgamation of Maldon Town & Tiptree United, the football club has gone from strength to strength year on year. Over the last few years, success on the pitch has resulted in upsetting Leyton Orient, running Newport County close in the FA Cup Second Round and had it not of been for Covid-19, promotion would have been secured.
Whilst the club is positioned well on the pitch and the positive results have helped improve the number of spectators in attendance, it’s clear that there is more that can be done off the pitch to increase the clubs support and general following. For example, becoming a pivotal part of both the community of Maldon and Tiptree.
And, that is where the Jammers Fans Association can assist in the opinion of those launching the Association. Membership will open in January 2022, with the focus for the next 4 – 8 weeks being to promote the JFA and generating general interest and confirming the benefits that future members will receive.
